Like many relationships now, Erin and Perry met online when Perry was drawn to Erin's many photos with flamingos. After briefly messaging, they decided to meet on an unseasonably warm Boxing Day.

Erin and Perry went to the Pittsburgh Zoo for their first date, where they walked around in search of more flamingos. While they didn't succeed in that goal, they did decide that they liked each other enough to spend the rest of the day with coffee walking around Lawrenceville.

From that day, they grew closer over their love for animals, coffee, games, trivia, traveling and more. Along the way, they've rescued Penny who has become a member of the family.

They decided to tie the knot after Perry proposed while they were atop a mountain in Hallstatt, Austria, despite being terrified of dropping the ring. Erin said yes and in true Pittsburgh fashion, they got to ride an incline down off of the mountain.

They're looking forward to continuing the adventure of a lifetime and are happy to have everyone joining them to celebrate.
